Radio WM interview

In the week when the £20 Universal Credit uplift is due to end, our CEO, Nigel Brookhouse, was interviewed on the Radio WM Caroline Martin show, broadcast from 10am to 2pm on Monday 4th October. The six minute interview was broadcast at about 11.36am. Narthex Sparkhill is deeply involved in supporting those who are most likely to be struggling when this temporary benefit is withdrawn.

Nigel was asked what he would like to hear announced at the Tory Party Conference and he suggested retention of the £20 Universal Credit uplift, protection for those who are likely to lose their homes in these difficult times and a benefit system that is better fitted for maintaining dignity and enabling choices for those who are less fortunate than many of us, amongst whom he gratefully included himself.
