We know it’s not easy to ask for help, but Narthex Money and Debt Advice is here to support you to address your money and debt issues, and see you break free from debt cycles

Narthex Money and Debt Advice service has helped thousands of people to overcome debts, both large and small, or to simply help with budgeting skills. In 2022, we saw our clients total debt burden reduce by over £450,000 and this continues to grow, year on year. Money and Debt Advice is free to use – it is supported through generous grants to ensure that no-one pays to access our service.

Clients faced with creditors or threat of evicition are helped by interventions to creat a pathway out of these situations; from simple budgeting advice, advocacy with creditors to help with structuring repayment plans or applying for a Debt Relief Order (DRO). Whatever your need, our Money and Debt Advice Advisors are ready to listen to you.

All Narthex advisers are appropriately qualified, and undergo continuous training to ensure that the service we provide is of the highest standard. All data is handled and stored correctly and confidentiality and discretion are upheld at all times. We see clients from all areas of the local community, and a number of our Advisors speak community languages to help support the needs of clients.

All initial consultations are conducted via telephone or online; further appointments will be arranged as required. At all times, our clients are the ones who decide what comes next – it is a partnership approach and it is important that clients feel in control of their journey.
