Narthex Sparkhill

All visits to The Narthex Centre are by appointment only. This is also true for the Foodbank at Tyseley; referral documents will always advise you when and where to visit.

Narthex Centre is based at St John’s Church, located on St Johns Road, Sparkhill, Birmingham B11 4RG. See the map below for directions.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 4.00pm. To contact us either fill out the contact form or give us a call on 0121 753 1959. At busy times you may be asked to leave a message on the answering machine. We will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.

The Foodbank at Narthex Sparkhill is open on Wednesdays from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Tyseley Foodbank

The main Sparkhill Foodbank is based at Hay Hall Road, Tyseley and is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 12pm.

We also operate a number of satellite foodbanks open on different days of the week.

Balsall Heath

The Balsall Heath satellite is based at Balsall Heath Church Centre, 100 Mary St, Balsall Heath, B12 9LA and opens on Mondays from 1pm to 3pm.

Hall Green

The Hall Green satellite is based at Church of the Ascension, School Road, Hall Green, B28 9LX and opens on Fridays from 2.30pm to 5pm.

Stechford

The Stechford satellite is based at All Saints Church, Albert Road, Stechford, B33 8UA and opens on Fridays from 1pm to 3pm.
