Supporting Labour Market Progression of Disadvantaged Individuals through Better Jobs and Skills Project, part funded by the European Social Fund

The Prosperous Futures Project is part of a consortium made up of Ashiana Community Project, Small Heath Community Forum, Narthex Sparkhill and Games4All.

The Prosperous Futures Project is an opportunity for people in work to improve and upskill, whether you want to stay in your current field or progress into better paid and more sustainable employment.

The Prosperous Futures Project can offer free courses and training to people who are 18+ years of age and currently in employment – this can be full time, part-time or self-employed – unfortunately, we cannot accept those on zero-hour contracts as they are not covered by the funding. Part of the criteria for this project is that you must have lived in the UK/EEA for a minimum of 3 years.

The training offered is relevant to your employment, enabling you to learn new skills to maintain or progress in your field. We work business to business as well as with individual employees and those self-employed.

We cover a wide array of sectors to whom we can provide training including retail, hospitality, child/adult care, warehouse etc. We offer a range of training, including but not limited to:

• Level 1 and Level 2 Employability Skills
• Level 1 and Level 2 Safeguarding
• Level 1 and Level 2 Food Hygiene
• Level 2 Customer Service
• Level 2 Health and Safety
• Level 2 Basic Life Support at Work
• Level 2 Fire Marshal/Safety
• Level 2 Microsoft Excel
